Personal Development

Personal Development

The development of a person would be more meaningful, if the facts that influence can be better understood.
Understanding of these factors can help a person make use of the opportunity to develop themselves optimally.

The difference between the growth of development is as follows:

Growth: Changes in the structure of the body from infancy to adulthood.
Development: In addition to physical growth coupled with the potential for someone who is sensitive to stimuli from the environment that is constantly changing.

Potential is:

Having talent ability to perform or behave in samo way, particularly in a way involving talent or Intelligence, (Dictionary of Phycholog: JP Chaplin)

Abilities possessed by a person will develop and manifest in real life if it has the following 2 factors:

1. Internal factors or myself.
2. External or environmental factors.

In this discussion we try to peel the Internal Factors / Ourselves, where some of the barriers to developing a person is in and of itself, among others:

a. The absence of clear purpose in life, do not know what exactly you want to achieve in life.
b. Goal setting is just that easy life is easy, this is because the experience of one's life that caused him to have a low opinion or appraisal / negative about himself that he does not expect will be able to achieve a lot in life.
c. Someone who is less motivated, due to experience life above the individual concerned was not moved / motivated to exert all-abilities there is in him.
d. To a reluctance to examine oneself, while to realize the potentials that exist in a person's self-knowledge is required and a realistic view as well as on her own.
e. Interpersonal relationships, often individual relationships with other people in society take place in shallow / less familiar, where the contents of the conversation is limited to mild, superficial conversation that is running smoothly and no congestion then the parties to be careful in expressing their opinions and trying to not arise congestion because of dissent. If this superficial relationship continues, then gradually interpersonal relationships are thus considered as something normal, do not allow self-development can lead to alienation contrary oneself and to others. This is not in line with the development of their own potential and self to realize.
f. Willing and always look for the positive feedback, in the absence of negative feedback, a person has the opportunity to find out about her lack useful to drive the desire for self-improvement.
g. Not having a plan of self-development, did not mean to improve the quality of the quality of the positive side, instead always worried  be a negative assessment of the other party.
h. Not willing to face the difficult experience, then this is not the availability and the individual gets a chance to develop themselves.
